The PowerEvents module was released around 9 PM on November 30th, 2010. The version for this release is 0.2 alpha. It provides three main functions which create the necessary objects for WMI permanent event registrations:
- New-WmiEventFilter
- New-WmiEventConsumer
- New-WmiFilterToConsumerBinding
